Dear Madeley, Primary School Community Members,

It is a privilege for me to express my keen interest in joining as a member of our school's board. As a passionate supporter of quality education, a firm believer in grooming children into the fields of their choice, and a proud father in this community, I believe in the transforming power of quality education.

With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, I am currently pursuing my MBA from the University of Western Australia and have around 13 years of experience in a variety of industries. At present, I am working as a Maintenance planner with Perth Mint and I believe that I am well-prepared to contribute constructively to the board's responsibilities.

Dear School Community

I am pleased to share a little bit about myself and my reasons for nominating for the Madeley PS School Board.

I have two children at Madeley PS – Jake in Year 3 and Zoe in Kindy. We have been part of the community here when Jake transferred late in Year 1, and I so appreciate the way that our school is inclusive, open, and transparent, and encourages community involvement.

My reasons for nomination are to continue to foster that community involvement, and bring my skills in governance and decision making so that community expectations and the school’s priorities reflect the needs of students.

I am Master’s degree qualified and my current employment sees me manage large scale change projects across a national not for profit organization. My role is focussed on early education and care outcomes for all children and therefore is aligned with the goals of a school and the purpose of a school board. My experience in enterprise-level leadership equips me with the strategic thinking needed to guide the school towards continuing success. I always work to being part of the solution and will foster continued collaborative approaches with the community over the 3 year tenure in this position.

I would be so pleased to bring my skills to the School Board and look forward to your positive support.
